Why do we love college football? Players come and go and for that matter so do coaches. We cheer for the school , the colors and we do it in droves. In the state of Alabama all we have is college football. Think about it no professional baseball, basketball, football, hockey or any other pro game other than NASCAR. |

Class AAAAA 1. Camden County (2-0) Last week: Beat Central (Miami) 45-42. All-state kicker Matt Ehasz kicked a 19-yard field goal as time expired in Camden County's victory over USA Today's No. 2-ranked team nationally. Camden scored twice in the first quarter on special teams, the first on J.J. Green's 94-yard kick return, the second on Green's blocked punt that Dajimin McNeil recovered in the end zone. Kenny Hutchinson scored Camden's third TD on an 80-yard run. Central also had its share of big scoring plays, including an 80-yard pass and a fumble and kick return. The Florida Times-Union gave Camden the edge in total yards 416-383. Hutchinson finished with 103 yards rushing, and Carrington Wright had 102. Central's Raheem Cato, who is committed to Florida International, was 18-of-29 for 334 yards and four TDs. Clayton, drafted 22nd overall by Baltimore in the 2005 draft, ranks third in Ravens history with 234 career catches and 3,116 yards.Roethlisberger out as a Steelers captain (AP) Ben Roethlisberger is no longer a Pittsburgh Steelers captain. Dennis Dixon is the new Steelers quarterback, at least for the time being.
